Homemade granola

Ingredients:

1 lb jumbo oats.

4 tbsp hazelnut or sunflower oil.

2 oz sesame seeds – optional.

2 oz hazelnuts crushed (or 4 oz if not using sesame seeds).

2 tbsp rice syrup or honey.

14 fl oz apple (or other fruit) juice.

2 oz sunflower seeds.

Method:

Mix all together and then spread over several baking tins (lined with silicone sheets/parchment).

Cook for 30 minutes at 150 C or Gas 2.

Return to mixing bowl and beat to break up.

Spread over tins again and return to oven for further 30 minutes at 100 C (or lower/longer to dry out).

Cool and box.
