At last, someone else has realised that lots of us (with disabilities, who are older, from ethnic minorities, with limited English or just awful internet connections) have huge problems contacting our GPs when they increasingly rely on “digital”. The Equality and Human Rights Commission has got round to reminding them all that, after 15 years, they should be complying with the Equality Act 2010! They should make their digital comms accessible or offer an alternative means of contact. Now you can quiz your local surgery and ask what they are doing about the guidance. Go on, test them on behalf of everyone who can’t get through!
